SEND Performing Arts Classes
We run a variety of classes for students in Aylesbury with special needs, disabilities and additional needs. From our fantastic weekly dance class to our exciting musical theatre summer courses. There is something for everyone!
These classes are a warm and welcoming environment where students can explore their creativity, build self-confidence, and make new friends. We provide a safe and encouraging space for children and young adults to express themselves through acting, singing, and dancing.
Weekly Dance Classes
Doorways Dance class is a 1 hour dance class where we explore and learn dance routines to a variety of popular music. Suitable for students aged 13+ with SEND. This project is run by Amber Elephant and is supported by Bucks Council. For more info, photos and videos check out our Doorways Page.
Performance Opportunities
Our Doorways Dance class students proudly take part in Honeycomb Dance festival every April. A chance for local groups to showcase their skills and hard work onstage at Aylesbury waterside theatre. Take a look at our Doorways at Honeycomb on our performance opportunities page
Summer Course
Every summer holidays we welcome an eager group of students to our performing arts summer course. At our summer course students get to expiereience a wide variety of crafts, drama activities, dance, music and singing. Each year we theme around our students favourite musicals or interests. Musical Theatre Classes
At our weekly Musical Theatre classes students get the opportunity to explore the dance, singing and acting of their favourite musicals. Over the course of a term students work on a variety of materials and perform a sharing of work to family and friends at the end. Take a look at our Musical Theatre classes page
